PAST WINNERS – CLASS V

1983 – present

Class V was introduced in 1983 and caters for “Veterans”. To win this class, teams with a minimum combined age of 100 years cover approximately 38 miles in the fastest time.

Originally, the route was from Buriton to Devil’s Dyke, but when the Buriton start was removed in 2015, this was changed to Bignor to Itford. The route changed again in 2018 from Steyning Bowl to Eastbourne. From 2019, teams may comprise of 3 or 4 people, with the combined team age increasing to 133 years for team of 4.
