Wow 2020 was a very different year, congratulations to all those teams that took part see our results page for more information. Planning is underway for the hike for 2021. Our hope is that we will be able to run with minimal changes however we will of course be guided by the rules from the government and the scouting association. More information to follow as soon as we know more.

The Sussex Downsman Hike is held annually on the first Saturday in October on the South Downs.

The hike is principally for the Scout and Guide Associations of East and West Sussex, with an open invitation to Scout and Guide Groups throughout Great Britain.
